DANCING THE NIGHT AWAY (THE MOTORS)

On the Old Grey Whistle Test (1978), Andy is playing bass and singing, here. This was the debut single from The Motors reaching No.42 in the charts, in 1977. BBC Radio 1 DJ, John Peel, a huge fan of the first album, chose it as his No.1 in his self-compiled 'Festive Fifty'.

AIRPORT (THE MOTORS)

Penned by Andy, Airport reached No.4 in the charts, in June 1978. It has become a bit of a classic getting a lot of airplay, particularly, in the Summer, as people jet off to "places where the weather is much better".

FORGET ABOUT YOU (THE MOTORS)

Hot on the heels of Airport, another song written by Andy, Forget About You, reached No.13 in the  UK charts, in August 1978.

NO JOY (ANOTHER POLITICIAN)

After The Motors, Andy recorded a solo album, in 1987, and in this song has a blast at politics and politicians.

AGENDA 21
